With its snow-sure location in the Västerbottensfjällen, Hemavan and Tärnaby have everything it takes to be classified as a cross-country and touring skiing paradise.
Every person who pays the voluntary cross-country trail fee contributes to making the ski trails a little better. The rail charge applies to the entire destination.
Enjoy the peace
There are 50 km of groomed tracks here. Some of them are electrically lit and there is an almost unlimited number of winter trails. The Kungsleden has its official starting point in Hemavan, just a few hundred meters from Hemavan's Högfjällshotell. Hemavan's mile track at Kobåset is a powerful experience in magnificent nature.
