Bathing in the ice bath in Gäutan
Tärnaby Fjällhotell offers Isvak's bath. You swim on your own or with friends. You can also book your own viking who will help you with tips and advice and who will be with you all the way. Then you also have access to the hotel's sauna. On with the hat and down in the wake.
After the bath, you must have warm and dry clothes to change into. Bathing is at your own risk and never bathe alone.

The mountain botanical garden
Inte särskilt långt från slalombackarna i Hemavan har en alldeles unik miljö skapats – en fjällbotanisk trädgård med över 400 arter. Trädgården är en av Sveriges högst belägna botaniska trädgård och en av världens nordligaste.
Här kan man på ett och samma ställe beskåda den variation och artrikedom som kännetecknar fjällens flora, allt från den rika strandväxtligheten längs våra oreglerade älvar till riktigt högalpina växter som isranunkel och fjällsmörblomma. Den kanske mest unika här är dock ytterst lokal, nämligen en relativt nyupptäckt orkidé – brudkulla.
Fjällbotaniska trädgården är alltid öppen för den som vill vandra runt själv. Under sommaren kan du också följa med på en guidad tur för att lära dig mer om fjällets växter.
Hemavan Gondola
in the summer
For those of you who don't want to go up the mountain, there is the new Hemavan Gondola. The journey up to the top takes about 5 minutes.
Note that there is no access to the gondola at Björk and that you have to go back to the top station if you want to ride the gondola down to the village.
You can buy tickets online and at the gondola's valley station. Dogs are of course also welcome to rest their legs in the gondola.
Igloo building
Try building an igloo. Completing an igloo takes at least one full day, but it is also possible to participate in part of the process. A good group/collaborative activity.

Igloo overnight stay
Try spending the night in a real igloo! Reindeer hide, warm sleeping bag, firewood and equipment for cooking over a fire outside are included. If you don't want to bring your own food, you can also add that the guide cooks dinner and breakfast outside the camp.

Climbing
Bergtryggs shop and bouldering hall at Hemavan's Fjällcenter.
Whether you are small or large, you want to train or maybe you just want to try the thing. The walls are no higher than climbing without a belay with a mattress underneath.
There are shoes to rent on site, you log in via a qr code and bank ID, in the shop you open the door. The shop contains climbing gear from the Black diamond brand.
Lenny Lämmel's world
Lenny Lämmel is a well-known face in Hemavan. He has three children's areas, his own club and an activity program that extends throughout the winter. In addition, Lenny has his own stage where he usually performs together with well-known artists.
Naturum Hemavan
Knowledge for all
Naturum is the gateway to Vindelfjällen. In the nature center you will learn more about the animals and plants, the geology and cultural history that shaped the area.
Tärnaby Bowling
Tärnaby bowling is at Folkan in Tärnaby. There are four lanes here and everything you need to bowl. Ice cream, coffee etc. available for purchase.
Flatbread baking
Together with the Boksjön Slow Adventure, you can try baking soft flat bread in a birch wood-fired oven in an old timber-framed baker's cabin. After baking, we have coffee in Västerbottensgården or outdoors with a view of Boksjön and Ryfjället. Pre-booking only and it is possible to book all year round except during freezing winter and hot summer days.

Touring skis towards the mountain
Join Boksjön Slow Adventure on a ski trip at a leisurely pace through mixed birch and fir forest up towards the mountain. Coffee is included in the tour. There are a few extra pairs of wooden skis to borrow. Snow is usually available from late November to mid-May.
